REPORTS TO:          CEO or future Chief Commercial Officer

EFFECTIVE DATE:    5/1/2019 or earlier

SUMMARY:              Directs and coordinates market research, business development and commercial forecast.


  • Conducts market research, cost analysis of sales, commercial forecast.

  • Understands healthcare systems, policy, access challenges, emerging trends in healthcare delivery, channels.

  • Learns and understands impact of healthcare technology & digital data analytics.

  • Supports business development, competitive analysis, disease area strategy, financial modeling.

  • Develops strategic marketing plan to meet goals and objectives of the company.

  • Develops and maintains marketing budgets.

  • Develops plans and programs to optimize market access strategies.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or higher in related field with more than ten years related experience.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating third party vendor and subordinates.

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects

  • Proficient in digital media and other software to support market research

  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
