SUMMARY:           

        The Senior Manager, SAS Programming is responsible for all statistical programming- related activities to ensure that the drug development is executed efficiently with timely and high-quality deliverables.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate/supervise activities of programmers internally and externally at study or project level. Provide and implement statistical programming solutions to ensure regulatory submission.

  • Responsible for quality control and audit readiness of all related statistical programming deliverables as well as accuracy and reliability of statistical analysis results.

  • Review eCRF, discuss data structures and review activities, ensure standardization.

  • Contribute to and review statistical analysis plan, mainly through table, listing and  figures specifications.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationship with cross-functional teams, able to summarize and discuss status of deliverables and critical programming aspects.

  • May act as functional manager for local associates including providing supervision and advice to these programmers on functional expertise and processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date advanced knowledge of programming software as well as industry requirements, attend functional meetings and trainings.

  • Act as subject matter expert, lead process improvement/non-clinical project initiatives with a focus on programming and analysis reporting procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 8 years of graduate or 6 years of post-graduate SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Major in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and others related field.

  • Experienced at contents and procedure of eCTD (CDISC) submission to regulations.

  • Experience in therapeutic area in infectious disease preferred.

  • Fluent oral and written English communication skills.

  • Ability to manage self, lead and manage others in the successful and timely completion of all statistical activities for a study or multiple studies from end to end.
