Title:                  IT Infrastructure Engineer

Department:    CEO Office

Reports to:       Sr. Office Manager

Date:                 1 Apr 2019

Summary:This position is responsible to develop and maintain a consistent, flexible and reliable local IT infrastructure environment, perform IT operation tasks to provide solutions as requested and needed, and implement IT security best practices across devices and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  -   IT system operation and infrastructure related service management

  • Maintain and supervise all network, servers and other infrastructure systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements;

  • Ensure compliance of the infrastructures with related IT technical and security standard;

  • Implement and test all changes to networks, hardware, software, and hosted applications;

  • Maintain the documentation of current infrastructure and future trends;

  • Regularly check the system health and performance and immediately perform actions to resolve any issues proactively;

  • Interact and coordinate with various IT vendors and service providers to ensure set-up and business continuity of productive environment;

  -   Office support and trainings

  • Provide technical support and advice to all the employees;

  • Provide IT training to new staff to let them understand local IT environment;

  • Provide training to all relevant employees when deploying new system;

  -   Support projects

  • Work together with project team and provide advice as a technical consultant to estimate and design the hardware environment;

  • Set up testing/consolidation/production hardware platform.


Education
Bachelor degree or above in IT/computer science or related field


Experience & knowledge

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.  Experience in MNC is preferred;

  • Solid IT infrastructure technical background, including infrastructure networks, hardware, software, telecommunications and Information Security;

  • Strong system operations & helpdesk background, and support level knowledge of MS Office products;

  • Able to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues;

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
